BIG BEND OPEN ROAD RACE

Have you ever wanted to drive really fast for 100 miles or more on some of the two lane back roads that we have all over the southwest? The Big Bend Open Road Race allows you to do just that! In April, they close off the road from Ft. Stockton to Sanderson, about 59 miles one way, and they run there, then line everyone up and run back. It's like bracket racing for 120 miles! There are a variety of classes where you need to average a certain speed such as 85, 95, 120, 140 and even an unlimited class! Of course there are stout safety rules, tire specs and stuff. Check out www.bborr.com for more info. Try it out next year!
