The "Old G-Gitter" Monza (Yes, Bobby Scott's old Grocery Getter) had the best runs of the night both in the 10.5's taking out the Evolution Mustang in the first round and making it passed Joe Pena's trip into the dirt.
Best ET 10.5X

The hard launching straight running Blow-Thru 302 Mustang of Ray Frescas took out Victor Contreras first round and Erik Brock second round.
Best ET 10.7X

Joe Pena is still fighting traction problems and lost it In his second round match up with the Old G-Gitter. Joe said as soon as he hit the bottle around 1/2 track the car went sideways and he ended up out in the dirt. Luckily he didn't get hurt and the only damage was the bent Centerline up front.
Best ET 10.7X

The Duron's traded off the driving duties in the wicked Evolution Racing small block nitrous Mustang. Adrian drove the Mustang in the second round vs. Robert in which the transmission decided to let go and sprayed fluid over the tires making for a slippery stop. Best ET of 10.6

Erik Brock's Cutlass has a bottle fed 496 big block Chevy. He ran strong in the first round defeating Robert Martin but got loose in the 2nd round when he tried to launch on the bottle against Ray Frescas.
Best ET 10.57

The turbo Mustang of Victor Contreras. Victor fought problems all night and lost to Ray in the first round of eliminations.
Best ET 10.8

Geno Leyba was running his big 540 cubic inch El Camino in Super Street. Geno had hooked up the blue bottle for some big numbers but never got the nitrous to activate during a run due to some wiring problems.
Best ET 11.0

This was the first time I had run the Mustang at DD. In the first round I paired off against Erik's Olds. I got the launch and was out front up to half track, but he flew by me on the top end with atleast 10 mph on me! 10.80 to a 10.57. It was too much fun, so I had to buy back in and give it another shot. I yanked the small exhaust off the car and ran uncapped against the Evolution Mustang second round. Won it 10.58 against the 10.7

If you look close you can see Bucks Camaro. Buck took second in the V8 Mild class in a final against a hard launching silver LS-1 Camaro.
