Thunder Alley August 3rd Results

The rain might have scared away a few racers, but there was still a very good turnout including a decent turnout of spectators. The spectator side of the race track was lined up with tailgaters BBQ'n and watching. Leon Ruddock attempted to make a pass, but instantly went to the opposite lane after he launched and yet again kept it off of the wall. The Jet Cars put on a good show for the spectators at over 230 MPH.

JR Mijares did it again! Two races back to back. This Increased the streak to 4 Pro wins straight for the Vette gang. JR with the last two wins, Vic Hernandez's win Arroyo, and Rolfe Sassenfeld. JR Mirajez (just playin Ernie!) - I mean JR Mijares, was wired to the tree in the Semi and Final round with a .512 in both rounds. John Duran, with his new car, has done very well the last two races. Before his Second place finish here, he made it to the semi's last month - pretty good!

will update with times soon.

It's hard to believe that this could be Jerry Cordero's first win in Modified at Thunder Alley. He said he's taken first at other tracks, got second place at Thunder Alley a few times, but just never got to pick up the first place check. But the streak was broken when Bruce Thomas redlit in the final round giving the automatic win to Jerry Cordero. Congratulations go out to Jerry and his team.
